August 7^th  – G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra movie premier launch (Mint Nightclub & Lounge)

The concept – Stephen Sommers will direct (here’s hoping he reigns in the CG), from a script by Stuart Beattie. The story is set at Brussels-based GIJOE, an acronym for the Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity, and revolves around an international co-ed force of operatives who use high-tech equipment to battle Cobra, an evil org headed by a Scottish arms dealer. –Real Movie News 11/20/07

Bring your military sexy camouflage outfits and gear!  This is an all out assault on Mint Nightclub & Lounge for the launch party for the movie coming out G.I Joe. 

Everybody hit the deck!  We will be needing military grade promotions…staffing and resources to be announced! 

August 8^th – Canvas Lounge (Summer’s Love Masquerade Party)

The concept – A masquerade ball (or bal masqué) is an event which the participants attend in costume wearing a mask. (A masque is a formal written and sung court pageant.)  Such gatherings, festivities of Carnival, were paralleled from the 15th century by increasingly elaborate allegorical Entries, pageants and triumphal processions celebrating marriages and other dynastic events of late medieval court life.

We are going to be bringing the medieval times upgraded!  We will be needing intriguing girls in masks…staffing and resources to be announced!  Guest list girl, Coat check, VIP hostesses and other nightlife promo staff upon sponsors confirmations.

August 28^th – I’m on a boat….The Party! + After party Mint Nightclub & Lounge

The concept – “I’m on a Boat” is the third single from The Lonely Island’s debut album Incredibad, and was also featured as a Saturday Night Live Digital Short.[1] The song features R&B singer T-Pain. The song is a parody of many rap video cliches. The music video reached number one on YouTube in February 2009 and was number one on the U.S. iTunes music video chart. The Lonely Island has also performed the song live on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon with The Roots filling in for T-Pain.

Strawberry Nights invites you to an amazing night of entertainment, featuring Vancouver’s upcoming models.

All models will have the opportunity of a life time; to travel across the Atlantic, to network within the industry, and to build skills that will further their career.

The cultivation and promotion of homegrown talent is the driving force behind the LOLLY POP fashions shows.

Each show will illuminate some of Vancouver’s most beautiful women as they use the runway as a platform to showcase their skills.

Monthly shows fashioned around the sexy sophistication of European runways, will see an array of models competing for the ultimate prize of an all expenses paid trip to London, UK.

Here the models will be able to represent Vancouver on an international stage. They will also be able to take advantage of workshops that are catered to their career and to developing skills that are indispensable within the industry, courtesy of Strawberry Nights Sponsors and Partners.

November 9th’s show will see 10 girls modeling an array of clothing from high-end fashion, lingerie, and a further promotion of Vancouver’s talent by the incorporation of local designers.
